SBIC Travel Awards to 16-ISABC
We are delighted to announce that the Society of Biological Inorganic Chemistry will support a limited number of travel awards 200 USD each (10) to enable early career researchers to attend and present their work at 16-ISABC in Ioannina.

The Royal Society of Chemistry is pleased to support the 16-ISABC offering 1 poster prize (250 GBP).

The Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry will offer five poster prizes 100 Euros each in the form of book vouchers for Springer books

The MDPI International Journal of Molecular Science offers two travel awards (250 Euros each)

Open Date for application is 15th March and the deadline is 26th May, 2023
To apply, please send to the organizing committee (Prof. Sotiris Hadjikakou (shadjika@uoi.gr), Dr Christina Banti (cbanti@uoi.gr)), (i) a CV of yours, (ii) a letter of support from your supervisor and (iii) your abstract submitted to the ISABC, with Subject “Scholarship ISABC 16”.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the 16th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry (16-ISABC). It will be held in Ioannina, Greece. We hope you will contribute to a successful conference, fruitful for all participants.

The University of Ioannina, Epirus, Greece, is organizing the ISABC 16. This is the 16th ISABC conference of the series and it will cover all branches of modern applied bioinorganic chemistry.

All previous conferences in this series were organized in several countries worldwide. The location of the conference is the city of Ioannina, in the northwest of Greece, easily accessible by airplanes (from Athens, Larnaka-Cyprus etc), ferries from Italy. In addition, there are several daily chartered flights to Corfu or Aktio airports from the main European cities. Ioannina can also be reached by bus from Athens or Thessaloniki (4 and 3 hrs respectively). The conference is expected to last 3 days and will take place at June 2023. Please join us to discuss the latest developments from basic to applied sciences in all fields of Bioinorganic Chemistry.

We look forward to seeing you at Ioannina in summer of 2023.
